Could use mini-fridges in rooms for convenience.

We had a fantastic time exploring Salem! The hotel was a perfect base for our family adventures, especially enjoying the street performers and ghost tours. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, making our stay even more memorable for my three grandkids.
For dads, it would be great if the pool stayed open longer.

I stayed at the Waterfront Hotel & Suites for 2 nights and really enjoyed the convenient location. It was just a short walk to many attractions. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, which added to the positive experience. The on-site restaurant made meals easy. The room was clean, and I appreciated the complimentary bottled water. However, the room felt outdated, especially the bathroom. I also had issues with customer service when trying to reach someone by phone before my arrival. Overall, the heat in my room wasn't functioning well during the colder evenings, which was disappointing. I asked for extra blankets but didn’t feel completely comfortable. I’d recommend the hotel for its location but wish for better upkeep and customer service.

Family vacation with great fun
The hotel had excellent customer service where the staff went out of their way to help us! They even loaned us umbrellas when it started pouring, which was real nice of them. And the restaurant was perfect after long days — the Regatta Pub had great food and room service was quick and efficient!
It wasn’t cheap, but still acceptable for what we got.

Definitely not cheap but overall a good stay
I had some serious issues during check out with a rather unfriendly lady but the bartender Jaclyn at the tavern was fantastic she really made the experience shine on a tough morning her kindness made up for the lack of service else where and the food at the small restaurant on site was surprisingly decent which I wasn't expecting after seeing the overall state of the hotel
It wasn't exactly inexpensive but still acceptable for what I got even if the room had some dents and the shower was problematic with long hairs left in it

Cozy yet cold experience
Our room offered stunning views and was clean, providing a lovely atmosphere to celebrate our anniversary. The staff were welcoming and upbeat, really enhancing our stay.
Unfortunately, the heating was faulty during our stay. We received a space heater but still struggled to keep warm for a winter getaway.
